Globis is an enterprise software platform for companies whose core business is logistics: freight forwarders, transport and intermodal carriers, terminal and warehouse operators, shipping lines, and logistics service providers running multiple of these activities at once. Most logistics operators run separate systems for each activity — a TMS for transport, a WMS for the warehouse, a terminal system for the quay and yard, and a finance package that only sees the result afterwards. Globis replaces that fragmentation with a single platform built on one shared data model, so an order, a shipment, a handling and an invoice line all refer to the same underlying data. The platform combines three layers. Execution covers transport planning and dispatch, warehouse management, terminal and yard operations, gate handling, value-added services, digital data capture and track & trace across modalities and partners. Back-office orchestration covers bookings, consolidation, subcontracting flows, slot management, exception workflows, alerts and compliance checks. Financial management covers contract and rate management, a configurable billing engine, freight audit, self-billing and real-time margin analysis per shipment, leg or service. Globis is designed for non-standardised, high-complexity cargo flows — general cargo, breakbulk, steel and project-type shipments, alongside containerised, palletised and intermodal traffic — where standard EDI is absent, subcontracting chains are multi-party and billing rules differ per customer and contract. A configuration layer lets business teams model their own processes, workflows, screens and pricing rules without custom development, so operators can differentiate their service without forking the software. Globis is cloud-based, used by European port terminals, international logistics groups, industrial logistics operations and multipurpose shipping lines, and supports multi-country, multi-entity and multi-currency operations.
