Genchi shows engineering leaders a prediction of which projects are heading for a missed deadline and which aren't, from the people doing the work. Giving every engineer a way to be heard, this prediction comes from their anonymous, one-click confidence vote in response to a regular, automated Slack prompt. Those votes are combined by project into a single score, tracked over time, so leaders can spot projects in trouble sooner and step in where needed, and, more importantly, know which teams to leave alone. Team members benefit too: visibility into how their teammates view the project and how the teams they depend on are doing, and less time and effort spent on status reporting. The question is always the same, and it takes one click: how confident are you the team will achieve their goal by the deadline? Answered on a 1–5 scale in Slack, email or the app, in about two seconds. Comments and blockers are optional and attributed, so someone can follow up. Status reports are a poor predictor of delivery. They're written by the one person accountable for the date, and research shows they're biased optimistic about 60% of the time. Genchi opens a different channel — the same instrument as the SAFe "fist of five" confidence vote, asked on a cadence and tracked over time — so the prediction comes from everyone doing the work rather than from a summary written on the way up. Works with Slack, Jira, Asana, Atlassian and Google SSO, and any MCP-compatible AI assistant. Free for teams of up to 10; $2.50 per user per month after that.
