I love the instructors, when I watch the courses I get the sense that I am getting an inside look at industry leaders and access to real professionals who know what they're talking about. I also love the format the classes are delivered in, the videos where you pause to code, then go back to lecture. I love that there is an app you can use to watch or listen on the go to really double down on learning. As a new developer, I didn't feel like FEM was a go-to for new learners. Everyone talked about Codecademy, freeCodeCamp, etc. but I have felt like doing FEM has given me an edge and like I'm using something that more seasoned developers use to up-level. My husband who is a senior SWE told me about FEM and I think that is telling. It just seems higher quality and more relevant to current industry because of how frequently courses are updated and new ones are added. Oh, and it's only $40/month?! I wouldn't be surprised if those prices increased, but I hope they don't. I feel like it is worth more than $40, but the fact that it's so affordable means I will probably stay signed up forever, because I'll want to keep taking the news classes, especially since they have expert level classes. It's not just for beginners, it's for everyone.

I like the amount of different branches that are covered. As an eager learner, I love the fact that it doesn't follow the standard path of JS/React/Next.js pattern, but instead tries to cover many more aspects of the industry. It's good to see really well-made materials about algorithms, databases, DevOps and more advanced topics, which are often omitted. But what's the most important is overall quality. Top instructors, a well-planned curriculum, and a bit of humor are something that makes Frontend Masters experience something special.

The courses are taught in a lecture style that is very interactive and engaging. I find myself locked in to the courses and wanting to practice everything that the teachers assign. The way the format is designed really overcomes course fatigue and burnout as I feel like I'm not just learning but also building.
