FraGest IA is a Windows desktop application designed for accounting firms and tax and accounting practices that want to reduce manual invoice data entry. It processes invoices from PDFs, scanned documents and images using OCR and AI services configured in the customer's own Microsoft Azure account. Extracted information is converted into structured records that users can review, validate, organize and export to Excel before continuing with their existing accounting workflow. FraGest IA also provides client and record management, document traceability, tax and VAT review tools, Excel import and export, and integrated PDF utilities. The application follows a local-first approach: operational data is stored locally or in a customer-configured location. Information required for OCR and AI processing can be temporarily sent to Microsoft Azure under the customer's own account, subscription and billing. FraGest IA complements existing accounting software rather than replacing it, and human review remains part of the workflow before data is used for professional accounting or tax purposes.
