ForCounsellors is a practice management platform built by counsellors for counsellors, therapists and students in training across the UK. Keep client records, session notes, assessments and outcome measures in one place. Book appointments, send reminders, and let clients make booking requests online. Send invoices and take card payments through Stripe, including when someone else, such as a parent, is paying. Send forms, agreements and measures through secure links, with no client accounts or passwords. You can also build a simple practice website that feeds enquiries straight into your diary. For students, ForCounsellors tracks placement hours, supervision and personal therapy. Supervisors and placement managers sign off hours through a secure link, with no account needed. Clients are recorded by code, never by name. Privacy is built in from the start, because counselling records are some of the most sensitive data there is. Everything is hosted in the UK, in Amazon Web Services’ London region. Session notes and other sensitive details are encrypted with a key unique to your account. Our staff tools cannot display clinical content. Two-step sign-in is available on every account, and reminder emails never reveal that someone is in counselling. ForCounsellors is designed around UK GDPR and the record-keeping expectations of professional bodies such as BACP, UKCP and NCPS.
