Flashdevelop streamlines the development of Adobe Air apps (Actionscript 2/3), but also supports syntax highlighting for a wide variety of other languages. Flashdevelop can automatically install the needed SDK's and provides you with a variety of template projects and scripts to make creating multi-platform apps as simple as possible. This is without any doubt the best means of developing iOS apps on Windows (Yes, it is possible!). Flashdevelop is a hidden gem that far too few are aware of. Best of all, it's FREE!
