F The Hours is a web app for UK freelancers and sole traders that combines time tracking, invoicing, expenses and a UK tax estimate. Time is logged by client, project and task type, with a grouped or flat view, filters, search and one-click export. Invoices are branded PDFs generated from logged hours, with invoice numbering and draft, sent, paid and overdue states, downloadable or emailed to the client. The tax page gives a running estimate for the chosen tax year using UK income tax bands, Class 4 and Class 2 National Insurance, student loan plans and payments on account, plus a take-home pay calculator for employed or self-employed income. Income and expenses are mapped to the SA103 box numbers with a readiness score and a spreadsheet export to copy into the return on gov.uk; the app does not file to HMRC.
