Proxae is a digital timestamping and proof-of-anteriority service used to establish verifiable evidence of when a document, file, or text existed. Hashes are computed client-side in the browser using SHA-256, which means the original content never leaves the user's device. The hash is then anchored into the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps, producing a public proof that any third party can independently verify against the blockchain — without needing an account, without trusting Proxae, and for as long as Bitcoin exists.
The service operates in three tiers. A free tier requires no account and provides unlimited Bitcoin-anchored proofs and shareable verification links. A free authenticated tier adds proof history and folders. A Pro tier (€4.90/month) adds RFC 3161 qualified timestamping by Sectigo (certified under ETSI EN 319 422 and recognized under the EU eIDAS regulation), an official PDF certificate, optional identity verification via Stripe Identity, and increased web page capture limits.
Proxae is operated by EVERLATS S.L. and available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.
