Etisia is an SMS appointment-reminder service for small service businesses that run their day on Google Calendar: salons, clinics, trainers, tutors and consultants. Once Google Calendar is connected and a client's phone number sits in the event, Etisia sends the reminder text automatically at the chosen time. Each message can carry a secure one-tap cancellation link, so a client who cannot make it frees the slot instead of not turning up. Delivery logs, quiet hours and weekly email stats are included. Etisia does not replace anything: the booking flow, calendar and website stay as they are, and clients receive a normal SMS with nothing to install. A Cochrane systematic review found SMS reminders improve attendance compared with no reminder (Gurol-Urganci et al., 2013).
