ELAO is a language assessment platform used by HR teams, recruiters, language schools, and universities to measure oral and written proficiency in six languages: English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German, and Italian. Aligned with the CEFR and designed by linguists, ELAO reports results with quarter-level precision. The adaptive engine adjusts question difficulty in real time, and speaking is assessed through AI-powered analysis of recorded responses. Candidates complete the full assessment in around 30 minutes. Each test produces two reports: a written and comprehension analysis, and a separate oral evaluation. Administrators generate access codes, send invitations, run bulk testing, and export results from a single interface. Developed in Belgium, ELAO is used for pre-employment screening, internal skills mapping, and placement into training programmes.
