Eduface is an AI assessment company founded in 2023 and based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We build purpose built AI tools for higher and further education, developed from the ground up for academic assessment, not adapted from general-purpose AI. Our platform covers the full assessment workflow: formative feedback, paper grading, exam grading, and oral examination. Every tool is built on our own proprietary model, trained on education-specific feedback and calibrated across six academic disciplines. Eduface integrates with Canvas, Moodle, Brightspace, and Blackboard via LTI 1.3, and is approved on Jisc and HEAnet procurement frameworks. Student data is never sent to third-party AI providers and is never used to train external models. Full GDPR and EU AI Act compliance is included as standard.
