DjangoCMS is based on Python/Django, one of the cleanest, most solid and powerful web frameworks out there. The best thing about DjangoCMS is how it plugs into Django - whole apps can be made available within the DjangoCMS administration very easily and writing plugins also is a breeze as plugins are also based on Django apps.
I also like the ability to quickly launch a DjangoCMS project on Aldryn, an all-inclusive hosting / deployment solution by Divio, where many of DjangoCMS' contributors work.
The django CMS is extremely user friendly and has a very intuitive drag and drop interface.
I didn't need any big training and was able to start very fast with creating websites..
Allowing non-techincal Users to make and update content without deep knowledge.
The user interface for frontend editing is very easy to handle and intuitive. Most of our content editors don't need a long time to understand the cms and this helps us to save some budget. Furthermore django CMS's flexibility allows us to add more and more plugins and keep our websites updated and on top of latest trends.
