DEV-IX is quoting and invoicing software for French construction and workshop trades, built by a cabinetmaker who got tired of watching workshop owners lose their Sunday evenings to the same spreadsheet.
It produces the eleven documents a tradesperson actually needs — quote, purchase order, delivery note, work order, handover report, pro forma, invoice, deposit invoice, progress invoice, final invoice and credit note — and checks every mandatory legal mention before the document goes out. If one is missing, the document is blocked.
Two things set it apart from general-purpose invoicing tools. First, estimating: twenty jobsite calculators (concrete, cladding, tiling, screed, partitions, flooring, insulation, earthworks and more) whose results drop straight into the quote as priced lines with quantities. Second, the jobsite paperwork generalists ignore: the signed work order with waiver of the cooling-off period for emergency call-outs, and the handover report that starts the statutory warranties.
Invoices and credit notes are generated as Factur-X (PDF/A-3, EN 16931 profile), ready for the French e-invoicing reform of September 2027. Documents are archived for ten years and data is hosted in the European Union.
The Micro plan is free with no time limit and no credit card: unlimited quotes, ten invoices a month, ten customer records, up-to-date legal mentions, Factur-X and archiving included. Paid plans start at €12/month.
