Onist is an AI receptionist for local service businesses such as tyre shops, car repair garages, car rental, vet clinics and salons. It answers the business phone when the owner can’t... 24 hours a day, and says in its first sentence that it is an AI. On the call it books the customer into the calendar, quotes the prices the owner has set, takes the car plate or the reason for the visit, and promises a callback when it can’t help. The customer gets an SMS confirmation and the owner gets a WhatsApp message. Every call lands in an inbox with a summary, a transcript and a next step. Owners set it up in about five minutes: add the business details, test the voice, then forward their existing number or use the local number Onist provides. It speaks Romanian, English and Italian. Pricing is per answered call with a monthly cap, with no contract.
