Davak Medical VR is virtual reality medical simulation software for health education. Students practise clinical procedures on virtual patients as often as they need, with no risk, no consumables and no radiation.
It covers four disciplines: radiography (130+ projections, 206 bones and 60+ simulated X-ray rooms), nursing (scenario-based training for events such as seizures, respiratory distress and triage), human anatomy (a 3D atlas of 13,000+ structures with layer-by-layer dissection), and medicine and surgery (Digital Twin technology that turns DICOM imaging into 3D models for planning and rehearsal).
Instructors set quizzes, graded tasks and courses on a web platform and review every student's results, including the image captured and the settings used in each simulation session.
Built in Nigeria for universities, colleges of health and teaching hospitals across sub-Saharan Africa, it runs on standalone VR headsets (Meta Quest 3, Pico 4 Enterprise, Vive XR) and on PC, and works without a constant internet connection. Licences are sold per student seat, with educators covered at no extra cost.
