I find the recent opening of the dashboard-building apps invaluable for presenting market findings to our brokerage teams. The Genie feature is great for quick reads across regional pricing datasets without disappointment. Databricks scales effortlessly, which is really helpful when comparing years of transaction records against current inventory. Building a comparative pricing dashboard in much less time than before has been a game-changer for me, with the scanning speed alone reshaping my workflow.

Helpful for Managing and Analyzing Operational Data

We use Databricks to process booking and service data before creating operational dashboards for our team. I imported datasets into Delta tables, used SQL queries to prepare revenue and booking metrics, and built KPI dashboards to monitor provider performance and monthly trends. Catalog Explorer made it easier to inspect schemas and validate data before reporting. Keeping data preparation, querying, and visualization in one workspace reduced manual work and helped us generate reports faster.

Premium Notebook Experience That Unifies ML and Data Engineering

The notebook experience is one of the premium features I use very often. It saves me time, and I spend less time on operational tasks compared to actually working productively with data because the user flow is so simplified. The biggest advantage is having ML and data engineering under one roof, so I don’t have to switch between different tools. The support and onboarding are very smooth as well, and the product’s performance is better than its competitors.
