CutNest is a cut list optimiser and sheet nesting tool for workshops that cut parts from stock material: sheet metal fabricators, laser, plasma and CNC router shops, joiners and cabinet makers, sign makers and woodworkers.
Enter the sheet sizes or bar lengths you buy, your kerf and the parts you need. CutNest nests the parts, tells you how many sheets or lengths to order and what they cost, draws every sheet to scale, and says when it has proved that no layout could use fewer.
From the layout you can print cut sheets for the workshop and a label for every part, export DXF for the laser or router, and build a customer quote priced from the material, the cutting time and your markup. Grain lock keeps brushed finishes and wood grain running the right way, and guillotine mode keeps every layout cuttable on a panel saw.
It runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There is no account to make, nothing is uploaded, and it works offline. Millimetres or inches, 19 currencies.
The free plan covers jobs up to 50 parts. Pro is £12 a month or £99 a year plus VAT, per company, with a 14-day free trial.
Made by a fabricator in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
