curate.tours is a no-code, browser-based tool for designing and sharing walkable 3D virtual exhibitions. It is made for artists, photographers, curators, small galleries and museums that want to present a body of work as an exhibition rather than a scrolling grid of thumbnails.
Building an exhibition follows four steps. Users draw a vector floorplan with multiple rooms, real-world wall measurements and angled walls. They hang artwork, high-resolution photography and video, either from their own uploads or from a built-in, searchable CC0 library of public-access museum imagery from the Met, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Rijksmuseum, the National Gallery of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Europeana and Wikimedia, imported with title, description and source. They set the lighting (spotlights, beam angle, intensity, warmth, sun angle, shadows and HDRI environments) and place plinths, pedestals, benches and other gallery furniture, including their own 3D objects imported from Sketchfab. Finally they publish the exhibition and share it by its own link.
Visitors walk through in first person, with a guided auto-pilot or a manual walk, in any browser on desktop or mobile, with no app or download. Videos hung in an exhibition play with spatial audio, and creators can see view counts for each exhibition. Each artist has a public profile with a bio and links to their own website and Instagram, and visitors can send them an enquiry.
curate.tours has three plans. The Free Plan keeps 2 exhibitions live permanently, with up to 12 artworks each and a shareable public link (no embeds). Curator Pro allows 100 live exhibitions with up to 20 artworks each, 3D furniture, custom wall and plinth materials, password-protected viewing rooms, direct links to individual artworks and iframe embeds for Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and Shopify. The Gallery Plan allows 250 live exhibitions and adds open calls with a jury portal and jury scoring (launched 1 September 2026), exhibition series hubs, artist rosters and visitor enquiries sent straight to the gallery.
curate.tours is a bootstrapped UK product built by Tom Cubis, a fashion and music photographer, director and artist, and launched officially in July 2026.
