Cronwell is an AI agent for purchase order tracking that works from the buyer's email inbox. Cronwell reads incoming supplier messages — acknowledgments, confirmations, ship notices, and attached PDFs — and turns them into a live PO record. The agent tracks open purchase orders, chases suppliers on missing or late confirmations, flags exceptions on price, quantity and promise-date changes, and keeps the ERP in sync. Every action is drafted for a buyer to approve before it is sent or written back. Suppliers do not create an account, log into a portal, or onboard onto anything. They reply to email as they already do, which extends coverage to the long tail of suppliers that portal-based tools never reach. Cronwell is built for mid-market manufacturers and distributors, and is used by buyers and supply chain teams responsible for direct materials. It works alongside EDI rather than replacing it, covering the suppliers EDI never economically reached. Cronwell is SOC 2 Type II audited.
