CopyThat

CopyThat is dispatch and scheduling software that uses a text-based workflow to coordinate field technicians. Technicians receive job assignments via SMS and respond with commands like "OTW" for en route, "HERE" for arrival, and "DONE" for completion. Updates sync in real time with the dispatch board, where managers assign jobs by dragging them onto technician columns. Additional messages from technicians become permanent job notes attached to customer records. The platform works with any phone capable of texting, requiring no app downloads or logins. Managers can input jobs manually or import them from spreadsheets, and customer/job histories are searchable. Data can be exported as CSV files. Higher-tier plans include customer notifications sent under the shop's name, though carrier registration may delay this. CopyThat focuses on dispatch and scheduling, not invoicing or fleet tracking. Technicians interact entirely via SMS, and the system is operational within hours of signup.
