Copia is a Shopify app that adds CSA membership management to an existing Shopify store. Members sign up through the farm's Shopify storefront and are created as native Shopify customers. All member management, billing, and farm operations happen inside the Shopify admin.
Core features:
Batch billing — processes charges for all members simultaneously on a set billing schedule. Supports per-delivery, installment, and full-season-upfront payment structures via Shopify Draft Orders.
Harvest planning — calculates total quantities needed per item across all share sizes and member counts for each delivery window. Box items can be linked to Shopify products for automatic inventory updates.
Pickup locations — farms configure pickup sites with capacity limits, hours, and optional fees. Members select a location during signup.
Member self-service — members manage holds, skips, and pickup location changes through their native Shopify customer account. No separate login is required.
Automated emails — transactional emails including welcome, billing confirmation, hold confirmation, skip confirmation, pickup reminder, and delivery notification are sent via Resend with per-farm branding.
Delivery routing — farms create optimized delivery routes for home delivery members using Google Maps. Drivers access a mobile-friendly route view and mark stops as delivered.
Shopify inventory sync — box items linked to Shopify products update inventory levels automatically when harvest planning is updated.
