Over the past more than 7 years I have had my share of digging into various platforms for privacy policies and compliance to various regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, etc.). When it comes to my website and how I handle data of my site visitors and customers, I want a process that is comprehensive and one that lets me protect their data and respect their privacy in the most respectful and transparent manner possible. Concord doesn't generate a privacy or cookie policy yet. I am told that it is planned and should be released soon, possibly as early as in couple of months. Terms of Service generation feature might be released in the near future but only after their certain higher priority enhancements. No ETA on that yet. Concord does have data privacy and consent management system. It allows you to create a banner to use on your website. Settings allow you to customize banner for various things like your branding - color and certain text per your choice. You can add various data systems that you use in your business and map various aspects of each system to whatever data you are handling associated with each of those data systems. Data systems are simply the products, services, platforms that maybe collecting data of your visitors, customers, potential customers, etc. Data systems examples are ThriveCart, Facebook, Stripe, etc. And, there are 200+ data systems available. Setting them up is rather simple but definitely forces you to think through how you are using those in your business and on your websites or apps. So, it takes time to do that initially. Another important aspect of being compliant which maybe required by certain regulations is Privacy Requests. Once enabled, it allows the following types of requests that people may request and Concord manages handling and processing those requests: Get a Copy Change Data Delete Data Don't Sell or Share Concord also records and provides logs of all the relevant events with dates. Logs or data retention duration is customizable per your needs or regulations. Implementation is pretty streamlines with tool tips almost everywhere. They also have integration with Zapier. Webhooks, Pabbly, and others are coming soon. Support is great along with comprehensive Help documentation and Knowledgebase articles.
