Trackara Pro is field software for mechanics who work out of a van, truck or service trailer instead of a fixed bay. It is built for solo mobile mechanics, small mobile teams of one to five technicians, mobile RV technicians, and diesel and fleet service techs. It is not aimed at large multi-bay fixed shops.
Estimates and invoices are built on site, with line items, labor rates, parts, tax and a customer signature captured on the phone. Estimates convert to work orders and work orders convert to invoices, so a job is entered once. Card payments are collected through the shop's own Square account using a Square-hosted payment link; payment links for other services can also be sent by text or email.
Scheduling includes a calendar, a day planner and a route optimizer for the day's stops. An online booking portal lets customers request appointments, and On My Way texts give customers an arrival estimate. Digital vehicle inspections include photo documentation on iOS and Android, and completed jobs carry a proof of service summary.
Mileage tracking follows the IRS standard mileage method, with trip logs and Schedule C style tax reports. Time tracking, expense tracking and job costing show what each job earned.
Client and vehicle records keep service history and maintenance reminders. Inventory covers van stock, low stock alerts, purchase orders, sales orders and a reusable service library. Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostics work with ELM327 and OBDLink BLE adapters.
The iPhone, iPad and Android apps keep working without a signal and sync when the connection returns. A browser portal at shop.trackara.app is included for office work and is not an offline tool.
An RV mode switches the app to RV terminology, RV manufacturers, RV service presets, and usage tracked in engine hours as well as miles. Trackara Pro is an official Resource Partner of the RV Technician Association of America (RVTAA) and the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA), effective August 1, 2026.
Pricing is one plan with every feature: $49.99 per month or $499.99 per year, with a 14-day free trial. Technicians who are only assigned work are free. A technician who needs their own app login is a $15 per month seat ($150 per year on the annual plan).
