It then checks every policy against the requirements you set and explains any gap in plain English, for example: "General liability aggregate is $1,000,000. You require $2,000,000." Your dashboard shows every subcontractor as green, yellow, or red, so you know in one glance who is covered, who expires soon, and who is a risk on site. Renewal reminder emails go out automatically at 30, 14, and 7 days before expiration and on the day itself, branded as your company, with you copied on the final notices. When your premium audit arrives, export a ZIP of every certificate plus a coverage-window spreadsheet for any date range.
