Fissami is free salon software for hairdressers, barbers, beauticians, nail technicians, beauty salons, massage centers and spas in Italy. It replaces the paper appointment book and the phone that rings while you work with a digital appointment book and an online booking page for the salon, open even when the salon is closed.
The salon adds its services, durations and opening hours, and clients book on their own from the salon's link or from a QR code printed in the shop, with no app to download and no account to create: they pick a service, a day and a time and confirm with a code they receive by email. The salon decides how far ahead clients can book online: 7, 14, 30 or 60 days. Appointments taken by phone or in person go into the same appointment book in a few taps.
Every client has a record with their appointment history and the professional's notes. The day before the appointment, an email reminder goes out automatically with the service, the time and the salon's address.
Fissami runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and can be added to the home screen like an app, without going through an app store. Data is stored on servers in the European Union and can be exported at any time as a spreadsheet file.
The core product is free, with no credit card, no subscription and no minimum term, and Fissami takes no commission on clients. Optional add-on modules will follow, such as multiple chairs or treatment rooms, a product catalog, SMS reminders, a till, invoicing and stock management: salons turn them on only if and when they need them. Signing up takes a minute, with an email address or a Google account. The interface is in Italian.
