The Excel add-user in's interface is simple to use, fairly self-explanatory, and "it just works."

the capacity to combine the most recent data to produce ratios with instant effect. This was quite helpful when I tried to create my own filter. I could apply Graham's standards before switching to an equity model based on market value.
