Cobra is a point of sale with SRI electronic invoicing for businesses in Ecuador: shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, hardware stores and service businesses.
A sale takes three taps: pick the product, charge, done. If the customer asks for an invoice, Cobra signs it with the business's .p12 certificate, sends it to the SRI (Ecuador's tax authority) and emails the PDF to the customer within seconds. If not, the sale is recorded without an invoice. It also issues credit notes, debit notes and withholding receipts.
It runs in the browser of a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. It includes cash register opening and closing, inventory with photos, purchases by batch, barcode scanner support, 58 and 80 mm thermal printing, a customer list that fills itself, and Excel or PDF reports for the accountant. Restaurants get a dine-in mode: tables, kitchen tickets on screen, split bills, tips, and recipes that deduct ingredients.
Pricing in US dollars, no VAT added: free up to 100 sales per month; Sucursal, USD 12/month with unlimited sales; Cadena, USD 35/month for up to 5 locations.
Cobra is a registered e-invoicing software provider with the SRI. It has a REST API and an MCP server for other systems and AI agents. The app and support are in Spanish.
