ChurchCloud is a UK cloud storage and file-sharing platform built specifically for churches. One subscription covers the whole church, staff, wardens, volunteers and congregation members, with no per-person fees, replacing the personal Dropbox or Google Drive accounts most churches fall back on by default.
Files sit in a folder hierarchy where access is granted team by team (Wardens, Staff, Music, Safeguarding) or person by person, folder by folder. Sign-in is passwordless. It uses a one-time code sent to any email address, so there is nothing for a volunteer administrator to reset, and no password to remember (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 3.3.8). Every file access, upload, download and permission change is logged with who, what and when.
Built for the reality that churches hold personal and sometimes safeguarding-sensitive data: EU-hosted, encrypted at rest, and offered with a Data Processing Agreement covering the church's role as controller.
