ChefSums is a food costing and menu pricing app for UK kitchens, built by a working chef. Enter what you pay for each pack and what the recipe uses, and it gives batch cost, cost per portion, food cost % and GP, with GP worked on the ex-VAT price. Scale recipes to any number of covers and print prep sheets. The calculators, recipe tool and pricebook are free with no sign-up. ChefSums Plus (£12/month or £120/year, 14-day free trial, no card) scans supplier invoices so prices update themselves, flags dishes that fall under your GP target, and keeps unlimited synced recipes. A free read-only AI connector (MCP) is also available.
