Dwellex is cloud-hosted case management software for eviction and landlord-tenant law firms. It records each matter from notice and intake through court filing, hearing, judgment, and writ, and gives the firm’s landlord clients a portal for the same file.
A firm configures the product to its courts. Case templates define the steps, questions, deadlines, and automations for a case type. Document templates merge complaints, affidavits, exhibits, and cover sheets from the case record. Intake forms are built per notice type and jurisdiction, and a case is created when staff approve the submission. Email templates cover the messages the firm sends at those steps.
Staff work from an action-item queue that shows the open step on each case and supports answering the same question across many files. The case timeline holds the steps, documents, dates, tenants, and notes for one matter. Notices can be prepared one at a time or in batches. A service log records method, time, and proof of service, including photos taken in the field. Trial lists group upcoming hearings by date and county, with AM and PM dockets, balances, tenant details, and a printable export.
Landlord clients submit notice requests and intakes, upload ledgers and leases, and see case status, closed matters, and messages. Firms keep organizations, properties, courts, and a client list. Staff can be assigned to work, and administrators manage firm settings, fee billing, and an audit log of changes.
