Cargovate gives freight forwarders, 3PLs, shippers and manufacturers one operational record of where goods are, who holds them, and what happened along the way.
Each shipment is recorded as a journey of legs and checkpoints, not a single status field that gets overwritten, so the full movement history survives.
Custody is recorded as a chain of handovers: who held the goods, when responsibility transferred, and on whose authority. A gap in custody shows up as a gap instead of being filled in by guesswork.
Included in the core license:
- Shipments and chain of custody: itineraries, checkpoints from a phone, a device or your own system, purchase orders, and an append-only audit trail
- Compliance records: each document is recorded against its movement with a fingerprint of its contents, so anyone can later confirm a copy is the one that was filed
- Import: bring in data from spreadsheets and ERP exports; importing the same file twice doesn't duplicate history
- Tracking: live positions from your own devices or the telematics you already run, with stale fixes marked as stale, plus temperature, humidity and shock readings held against the shipment
Modules you add when you need them: warehouse management (receiving against ship notices, lot and expiry tracking, FEFO picking on any handheld scanner, blind cycle counts), manufacturing traceability (serial genealogy and lot traceability for recalls), fleet maintenance (by odometer, engine hours or date), finance and agency.
Pricing is simple and published: a banded license that includes a monthly shipment allowance. Nothing is charged per user or per shipment.
Deployment: hosted, private cloud, or on-premise, including air-gapped installs. Each client's data is kept separate, and a client's custody record leaves with them intact if they change providers.
