CallSheet: Crew Calls builds a shoot day call sheet on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and sends it as a private link to every person on the call, not a shared file. It is built for the independent producer, production coordinator, or assistant director who owns the call sheet for commercial, branded, documentary, photo, and small narrative crews. It is not a production management suite: no budgeting, bidding, script breakdown, or company dashboard. It is the shoot day document and its distribution.
Building works offline, with no account and no subscription required. Add cast, crew, and key contacts from the Apple Contacts already on your phone, or import a vCard or CSV from Google Contacts, Outlook, Numbers, or Excel. A Crew Directory keeps people you have worked with before, on device, so the next call sheet starts from names you already have. General call, personal calls, department-relative calls, on-call, and will-call are all supported, along with a full run of day, locations, company moves, meals, and equipment notes.
Two features are audited against 39 call sheet products, as of September 2, 2026. CallSheet is the only call sheet app that puts the sun's position on the call sheet: true-north bearing and elevation for the location, the date, and every timed setup, on satellite imagery in the app, interactive on the crew's link, and printed in the PDF. CallSheet is the only call sheet app with a built-in site map editor: draw the route in, the gate, the staging area, and crew and truck parking on satellite imagery of the location, and send it with the call sheet. Both travel to every recipient, in the PDF and on the crew link. Neither predicts shade or replaces a real scout.
Sending is what CallSheet Pro unlocks. Each recipient gets a private link addressed to them, with the current PDF, and no app or account required to open it. The producer sees six real delivery states, including an explicit Confirm or Decline the recipient taps on their own page, not an inferred email open. When a call time or location changes, CallSheet works out who is affected and preselects them for the resend, so an unrelated change does not require a full-crew alarm. A Wrap Sheet feature sends one closing email at the end of the job with a thank-you and how to invoice the production.
The app is free to download. Building and exporting work fully with no account: unlimited local call sheets, the full editor, the Crew Directory, Sun Path, and a PDF export carrying a small "Made with CallSheet" line. CallSheet Pro is $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Pro removes that line and adds sending: private recipient links, delivery and confirmation tracking, change-aware revisions, and a browser app at calltimes.app covering the same account from a desk.
Crew and cast need nothing: recipients open a private web link with no download and no sign-in, regardless of what device they carry.
