FoodLabelHub turns a recipe into a finished food label. Users type the recipe as free text; the software splits it into ingredients, matches them against the German Federal Food Code (Bundeslebensmittelschlüssel) and calculates the nutrition values per 100 g of the finished product.
The label covers the mandatory particulars of EU Regulation 1169/2011: product name, ingredient list in descending order of weight, QUID, allergens highlighted in the ingredient text, net quantity, date of minimum durability, storage conditions, name and address of the food business operator, lot number and the nutrition declaration. A drag-and-drop editor arranges the blocks, and the result is exported as a print-ready PDF in the prescribed font size.
It is built for small producers who make and pack their own food but employ no food law specialist: manufactories, farm shops, direct marketers, bakeries, butchers and small caterers. Billing is per recipe, PDF export is unlimited. Data is processed on EU s
