Honestly, the thing I like most about the Astra theme is how it doesn’t get in your way. You know how some themes feel heavy and slow, or force you to click through endless panels just to change a font? Astra isn’t like that. It loads almost instantly, and it works perfectly with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg without any fighting. But the real winner for me is the customization. You can tweak almost everything—headers, footers, colors, spacing—right from the customizer, and you see the changes live. No child theme needed for basic stuff. It’s powerful enough for pros but simple enough for someone building their first site. Plus, it’s lightweight. Your site stays fast, which Google and your visitors will love. So yeah: speed + freedom to design without headaches. That’s what I like best.

The Astra theme is the lightest theme I've ever worked on for building the any websites for my clients. It me go to theme every time while building any site. It can be easily integrated with lot of good plugins that enables lot of customization. It has very good support when having any issues.

I found the Astra WordPress Theme was the best theme initially because it had all the features to control the header, the footer, and worked very well with Elementor. It also was priced relatively well at $700. It's a good choice if you don't have Elementor Pro, as you can still control the header and footer, with a couple of settings to control some other parts of the site like custom post types. I also found the initial setup very easy and liked the developers for the way they made it.
