Bénévènement is a web app built by Avel Web to manage volunteers at events such as festivals and regattas. It started from a familiar problem: volunteers tracked in a shared spreadsheet, with availability arriving by email, SMS and private messages. With Bénévènement: - Volunteers choose their own time slots, with no back-and-forth with the organizers. - Remaining spots are counted in real time for every shift. - Overlapping shifts are automatically refused. - Each post gets a printable schedule that includes the team lead’s phone number. - The next edition starts from the previous one, so nothing has to be rebuilt each year. It has been used on a real event with 83 volunteers and 189 shifts, from setup to teardown. It is designed for small and mid-sized organizations (associations, festivals, sports events) that want something simple and quick to set up, rather than a full HR-style platform.
