BenchOS is a cloud-based point-of-sale and repair management system integrated with Apple's GSX platform based in the US. It streamlines workflows from device check-in to payment processing in one interface. Technicians can perform device intake, access repair history, capture customer signatures, and track repair statuses. Payment processing supports credit cards, terminals, and Stripe payment links. GSX integration allows warranty lookups, parts ordering, and repair submissions within tickets. Automated tools calculate labor credits, generate invoices, and match them to Apple credit memos. BenchOS tracks inventory and serialized parts via purchase orders tied to tickets. The customer portal lets clients check repair status, approve quotes, and pay online. Multi-location features handle store-specific payments, taxes, and reporting. Notifications via Slack and SMS keep staff and customers updated, while reporting tracks revenue, receivables, and reimbursements for accounting.
