barKoder is a software company based in Sofia, Bulgaria. It develops the barKoder Barcode Scanner SDK, which lets developers add fast barcode and MRZ scanning to their own mobile, web and desktop apps. The SDK runs on iOS, Android, Web (WebAssembly), Windows and Linux, with plugins for Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI, Capacitor, Cordova and NativeScript. Its strengths are damaged and hard-to-read codes (DPM, DotCode, PDF417), batch scanning with an AR overlay, MRZ and VIN scanning, and parsers for driver's licences (AAMVA), GS1 and boarding passes. The team previously built the Manatee Works SDK, which Cognex sold as its mobile barcode SDK.
