Conversations is a Salesforce-native application that sends and receives SMS text messages from within Salesforce records. It runs as a Lightning component and can be placed on Contact, Lead, Case, or custom objects. Pricing runs either flat-rate per number or per-message, depending on plan. The flat-rate option fixes the monthly cost regardless of volume; the per-message option scales with volume but avoids credit or segment overhead. Each outbound message returns a delivery status in real time, including the carrier-level error code when a message fails to send (for example, carrier filtering, an invalid number, or missing 10DLC registration). The product includes 10DLC registration support: guidance through the Campaign Registry brand and campaign registration process that carriers require before a business can send at volume. Message history is stored against the customer record and is visible across related records, not siloed to a single object or thread. Bulk sends are throttled automatically to stay within carrier-imposed rate limits. Implementation from signed contract to production has run approximately four to six weeks for existing customers. Support is provided during Central Time business hours.
