Axon Records is a records management system (RMS) that provides dynamic report-writing, configurable workflows, and deep integration with Axon Evidence. By reducing the administrative burdens of report-writing, Axon Records helps officers focus their time on serving their communities. Axon Records includes the following key features: Dynamic report-writing lets agencies replace almost any paper-based documentation and contains customizable templates for common reports, such as Incident Reports, Field Interviews, and Narratives. Agencies can also build custom forms, workflows, and user groups to suit their needs. NIBRS compliant fields and dynamic validation enable users to accurately report crime data while maximizing efficiency. Missing fields are flagged, and requests for revision and additional details are routed back to the report writers. Direct access to Axon Evidence allows users to seamlessly attach digital evidence from TASER devices, cameras, and citizen smartphones to an incident. Records reports are collaborative in nature and can be shared with involved officers, partner agencies, and prosecutors. Axon Performance is designed to reduce the amount of time field supervisors spend reviewing compliance with agency policies and programs. With Axon Performance, agencies streamline the supervisor review and enable supervisors to deliver tailored personnel training and feedback to ensure that teams are operating within agency guidelines and policies.
Organizations who have purchased the Draft One add-on can now use the Draft One narrative tool, which is powered by body camera audio. Using Draft One, you can quickly generate draft narratives in Axon Evidence that can be carefully reviewed and revised, then copied into your third-party RMS (Records Management System). These drafts are generated from your body camera's footage of the incident. As soon as you stop recording, the audio from your video is automatically uploaded to Axon Evidence. Once the upload is complete, the audio is quickly Auto-Transcribed. Five minutes after stopping your recording, you can open Axon Evidence and use Draft One to create a draft narrative. Draft One can be used on any playable audio/video files supported by Axon Evidence, not just Axon body camera footage. Administrators can configure safeguards for Draft One and assign permissions to ensure that the appropriate users can access it. Once Draft One is enabled, you can see when it has been used by generating an audit trail for a user or a report.

With Axon Community Request, you can invite individual witnesses – or the entire community – to submit photos and videos of an incident directly to your agency. One-to-one submissions and community-wide portals help get to the truth quickly. Axon Community Request has two components: Axon Community Request for Communities lets agencies create public evidence submission portals where the public can submit evidence during both large-scale and smaller, day-to-day events. Axon Community Request for Officers lets officers send individual invites to witnesses directly from Axon Capture or Axon Evidence.

This "hypermedia player" enables powerful connections and efficiencies during the evidence review process. You no longer have to watch every moment of digital evidence. Instead, simply scan the Auto-Transcript to quickly understand what happened during the incident and jump to significant moments by selecting the spoken words as they appear in the Auto-Transcript. When court-ready transcripts are needed, Axon Auto-Transcribe can produce the transcript in a fraction of the time and cost compared to human transcription alone.
