AvioData is an aviation Safety Management System (SMS) built specifically for EASA-regulated airlines and Non-Commercial Complex (NCC) operators. Developed in the Netherlands by a team with over 20 years of aviation compliance experience, it provides a complete, modular platform for implementing and maintaining a compliant SMS under ORO.GEN.200.
What makes AvioData different
Most SMS tools are either generic compliance platforms adapted for aviation, or large enterprise systems designed for major airlines with complex implementation timelines and costs. AvioData was built for the gap in between: operators who need a serious, authority-ready SMS but without the overhead of an enterprise deployment.
The platform is operational within days. There is no multi-month implementation, no consultants required, and no features you'll never use. Every module is built around how aviation safety actually works — structured workflows, mandatory fields, complete traceability — so you're always ready for regulatory oversight.
Platform modules
AvioData covers the full ORO.GEN.200 SMS framework across 15 integrated modules, organised into four areas:
Core Safety: Corrective Action Request, Hazard Log (with interactive risk matrix), Event Report
Audit & Compliance: Audit Checklist, Audit Schedule, Management of Change
Communications: Notice to Crew, Memo, Minutes, Notice to MT
Documentation: Manuals, Legal & Regulatory, Library, Tasks, Other Actions
All modules share a common data layer — a corrective action can link to a hazard, which links to an event report, which drives an audit finding. Nothing lives in a silo.
Regulatory alignment
AvioData is aligned with EASA ORO.GEN.200 and supports the documentation requirements of EU Regulation 376/2014 (occurrence reporting). It is used by operators in EASA member states and has been designed to satisfy authority oversight requirements from day one.
Deployment
100% cloud-based. No installation. Accessible via browser and via the AvioData EFB app for mobile use by crew and safety personnel. Role-based access control is built in.
Who it's for
Airlines and NCC operators across Europe — from small private operators to regional carriers — who need a practical, audit-ready SMS without enterprise complexity or cost.
