Avently is a Canadian service, run from Ontario, that sends event invitations over WhatsApp and records every guest's reply in the host's guest list. Hosts connect a guest list, write the invitation and any follow-up questions, such as dietary needs or plus-ones, and send. Each guest gets a personal WhatsApp message with buttons to answer. Avently writes every reply into the guest list as it arrives and shows the headcount on a live dashboard. Guests don't need an app or an account, and every event gets a mobile page with the venue, a map link and add-to-calendar buttons. For associations, committees and clubs, Avently also: • verifies members before they join a WhatsApp group • runs outreach for a committee under the organisation's name • confirms panel speakers and their time slots
