Secure Browsing That Accelerates Investigations
What I like best about Authentic8 Silo for Research is how it combines security, usability, and investigative capabilities into a single platform. The UI/UX is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing analysts to quickly access the tools they need without a steep learning curve. Its integrations with security and intelligence workflows help streamline investigations and reduce manual effort.
From a performance standpoint, Silo provides a responsive and reliable browsing experience while maintaining strong isolation and protection. The onboarding process is straightforward, and the support team has been knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful whenever assistance is needed.
I’m also impressed by the platform’s AI and intelligence capabilities, which help accelerate research, surface relevant insights, and improve analyst efficiency. Overall, Silo enables safe, effective, and scalable research while minimizing risk to endpoints, credentials, and the broader enterprise environment.

User-friendly interface and a feature-rich tool, with the ability to customize it for each individual user. It includes a virtual drive to store files and a built-in AI assistant that makes it even easier to use. It also offers a desktop app option and was easy to integrate with our SSO tool. Searches and URL evaluations are fast.
Silo is our primary tool now for CTI, Brand Protection, OSINT and investigations, and secure web access.
It was a bit more expensive than our previous tool, but considering all the additional capabilities we get, it was worth it. We inherited the tool through an M&A, so I can’t speak to the onboarding experience. That said, given how responsive customer support is and the fact that we have our own TAM, I imagine onboarding would be quick and straightforward.
