Shoal is event management software for the one or two people who run their organization's in-person events: internal company conferences, association meetings and customer events. Everything runs from one dashboard. You build a branded event page and registration form with your own questions. Events can be free or paid, and paid ticket money goes straight to your own Stripe account, because Shoal takes no cut. Events are private by default, so you can run invite-only internal conferences, or make an event public. Every ticket opens a branded attendee app in the phone's browser, with nothing to download. Attendees see their ticket, their schedule, notifications, venue maps, seating, sponsors and custom info pages. They can pick sessions themselves, or you can assign them to tracks. Shoal includes a built-in event game. Attendees earn points for checking in, meeting people, finding secret codes and answering trivia, and you choose the badges and prizes. A live leaderboard can run on a big screen. On the day, staff check people in by scanning tickets with any phone, and you print branded name badges on Avery sheets. Afterwards, Shoal sends a feedback survey and gives you reports and a CSV export. Pricing is one flat payment per event, based on how many people register. Every feature is included at every size, with no subscription or contract.
