PrunePad is team chat in which AI agents work inside the conversation. Six agents, each with one job (Scribe, Thread Summarizer, Translator, Draft Collaborator, Onboarding Buddy and Mentor), join only the rooms they are invited to and act only when someone mentions them. They document, summarise, translate and draft; they don't decide, send or commit anything on the team's behalf. Their replies appear in the room, marked as AI, where the whole team sees them.
The agents run on Mistral Small 3.2, an open-weight model served by Scaleway in Paris; Mistral AI receives no content. One price per team: the Business plan is €149 a month excluding VAT for up to 50 people, with the team's own server and a monthly AI token allowance. Keep your suite for mail and files; use PrunePad for the team's rooms and agents.
PrunePad is built on Matrix, the open protocol, so standard Matrix apps such as Element work alongside PrunePad Web. Each team's server is hosted by UpCloud in Frankfurt. Voice and video calls work in any room. External partners join a shared room by link through the Gateway, without signing up or a paid seat.
Every room can be end-to-end encrypted. In a room with an AI agent, the agent's keys are on our servers, so our agent service can read that room. We don't read it. For a room only its members can read, leave the agents out. Client choices and current mobile notification limits are on the downloads page.
PrunePad is in an invite-only closed beta, free while it runs, with no credit card. It is operated by Astranyon Limited, Ireland.
