Minimal, Powerful Linux for Developers

What I like most about Arch is the amount of control it gives me over the system. The installation begins with a minimal base, so I can add only the components I actually need, rather than dealing with a bunch of unnecessary packages. Pacman is a fast, straightforward package manager, and the Arch User Repository (AUR) makes it very easy to access a huge range of community software. I also appreciate the rolling release model, since it keeps development tools and libraries up to date without forcing major system upgrades.
