RVer is an immersive virtual reality system for clinical use, developed by Amplified Creations, Lda. (Portugal). The base product, the video library, is registered as a Class I medical device with Infarmed and carries the CE mark under EU Regulation 2017/745. It is used by clinical teams in hospitals, clinics, senior residences, palliative care units and wellness spas as a non-pharmacological complement for comfort, distraction, relaxation and guided activity, under the supervision of the healthcare team. Three modules extend the base system. RVer Motion provides guided seated movement, with a 3D trainer demonstrating each exercise and repetition logging. RVer Neuro provides cognitive activities with per-session performance logging. RVer Exposure provides graded 360° environments organised by level. These modules are in validation and are not covered by the Infarmed registration. RVer runs without an internet connection during sessions. It installs in under a day, has no dependency on hospital IT systems, and does not collect patient clinical data. Available in Portuguese and English.
