BidHeron is a public-tender search and alert service for small and mid-sized suppliers who sell to government.
The problem: every market publishes tenders on its own portal (Find a Tender and Contracts Finder in the UK, TED in the EU, SAM.gov in the US, CanadaBuys in Canada), each with different searches, categories and alert settings. Watching four portals by hand takes hours a week, and it is easy to miss a tender.
What BidHeron does:
- Reads all five official sources every two hours (SAM.gov daily) and puts every open tender in one search, with filters for market, EU country, category, value and deadline.
- Lets you search free, without an account.
- Emails new matches for your saved alert: weekly on the free plan, daily on Pro.
- On Pro, adds a plain-English summary of each tender and a fit score (0 to 100) with a one-line reason, measured against a short description of what you sell. Pro also posts matches to Slack or Microsoft Teams.
Pricing: free (unlimited search, one alert, weekly email, no card). Pro is $19 a month for up to five alerts and daily email; cancel any time. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record.
Every tender links to the official notice, which stays the authority on deadlines and documents.
