e-Kirjuri is a lightweight timesheet app for construction, building services and other contractors who bill their clients by the hour.
Employees log working hours, mileage, per diems and allowances on their phone, right at the site. The supervisor reviews a week (or any period) at once, corrects what is needed and compiles the hours into a batch for the client. The client's approver opens the batch from an email link and approves or rejects it — no account or password needed. Everyone — supervisor, employees and the client's approver — receives a confirmation and their own PDF copy, and the event history shows who did what and when.
Built for Finnish contractors: overtime breakdown, call-out work and standby, company-specific allowances, tax number checks against the Finnish Tax Administration register and monthly reminders of expiring Valtti cards. Sick leave notifications stay separate from timesheets and are never shown to the client.
A phone timer starts and stops the working day and fills in the timesheet. An optional location stamp records where work started and ended (about 100 m accuracy, no tracking in between); it is off by default.
Optional add-ons: payroll export as a file (Procountor, Netvisor, Fennoa, Palkka.fi or Excel) and site profitability, which estimates billing, labour cost, expenses and margin per site and per employee from the recorded hours and site costs.
Works in the browser on Android, iPhone and desktop — nothing to install from an app store. No training days or implementation project: add your sites, clients and employees and log the first hours the same day. Data is stored in the EU.
