Airpinpoint is the perfect solution for my small business. The service team is quick to respond to suggested updates which is even more appealing for a relatively newly launched platform. We have tried Milwaukee Onekey, basic airtags, and evaluated every other option. Onekey only works with the network of Onekey app users. Airpinpoint leverages the Find My Iphone network just like an Airtag. Although Airtags also have the benefit of the Find My Iphone network, we found many disadvantages to simple airtags. First, the airtag batteries have less than 1 year of battery life in our experience. Given that we are tracking 50+ pelican cases carrying rental tools, we were getting overwhelmed with battery changes. Part of this was tracking the battery life or even functionally seeing where a given tag is located on Find My Iphone. The Find My Iphone app is built to locate a lost item. It is not built to access daily for asset tracking and lacks the features. Finally someone put it all together. Multiyear battery life, a powerful network, and a platform built for tracking assets. Its a work in progress, but the team at AirPinpoint have been responsive and quick to take action.
