MacOnboardingMate (MOM) is a wizard designed both to streamline the onboarding of a Mac in a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, or to orchestrate its migration from one MDM to another MDM, under the remote monitoring of the IT support. The MDM switching implies both the assisted unenrollment from the previous MDM before the enrollment in the new MDM, and the copy of selected inventory values of the migrated device during its exodus. MOM White glove provisioning combined with macOS Automated Device Enrollment offers a similar experience as Windows Autopilot for pre-provisioned deployment.
EasyLAPS is a tool designed to regularly rotate the local administrator account password of a Mac and store it in a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. The main purpose of EasyLAPS is to have unique passwords on a Mac fleet which are centralized in the MDM console. EasyLAPS operates a true rotation of the local administrator password, so the account keeps its cryptographic status. That means that once the password is changed, the account is still a Crypto user and Volume owner, able to unlock the device, install macOS updates, make changes to the startup security policy, initiate an Erase All Content and Settings, and more.
Telepod is an automaton designed to streamline the lifecycle of an iOS device. Under the remote monitoring of the IT support and without recourse to iCloud, a new iOS device can be restored from the backup of a device acting as a model or from the backup of a device that needs to be replaced. Telepod can also be implemented as a preparation wizard, or as part of an MDM switching project requiring migrated devices to retain their Automated Device Enrollment configuration. Battery cycle count and health can be collected and associated with alerts recorded in preparation summaries and sent via webhooks.
